Most delays in quoting a PCB assembly come from missing or unclear files. A complete package lets our engineers review your design for manufacturability and price it without a round of questions.
The files
- Gerber RS-274X or ODB++ files. Zip the full set, including drill files and paste layers.
- Bill of materials (.xlsx or .csv). Include manufacturer part numbers, reference designators, and quantities per board.
- Pick-and-place file. Also called a centroid or XY file, exported from your CAD tool.
- Assembly drawing. A PDF showing component orientation, polarity, and any special instructions.
The details that change the price
- Quantity for prototypes and your estimated annual volume
- Single-sided or double-sided assembly
- Fine-pitch parts such as BGAs and QFNs
- Who supplies the components: turnkey, consigned, or a mix
- Whether alternate parts are acceptable when a part is out of stock
- Test requirements, and whether you have a test fixture
What we build
We assemble surface mount, through-hole, and mixed-technology boards, down to 0201 passives and fine-pitch BGA at 0.3 mm pitch, on boards from 1 to 30+ layers. Every build goes through 3D automated optical inspection and X-ray inspection.
